The Plebian Rag’s first poetry publication by John C Sweet: “Great White Memories”
We are pleased to announce that we have created our poetry publishing arm of the company, with this exciting development we want to open the doors for our published poets to have the opportunity to get their poetry manuscripts in print. Authors that are interested in discussing publication with us should email to therag [@] theplebianrag [dot] com.
Publishing your book with us will afford the author even greater exposure than self-publishing, we will market your book for free and drive sales to you with our ever growing reader base, to date we have had over 950,000 visits (almost to one million!) to the site since our inception in February of 2009. Our goal is to deliver the best quality books to your readers and increase your reader/fan base with the full force of our brand behind you.
At this time we will only publish poetry, keep in mind what kind of poetry we are looking for, if you are unsure please review the poetry published on the site to get a feel for what we want.
All authors will retain the profits for their books and we will send out quarterly payments for their royalties. The printing cost of each book will be determined at publication depending on the specifications of the book, color costs more so keep that in mind when sending us your manuscripts. All books will be available on Amazon and will have their own ISBN number and authors may order their books at cost as well for distribution.
Here is a sample of what we can do for you, the book below is by John C Sweet, the editor of the Plebian Rag. A beautiful softcover pocket book, trim size 6×9 with glossy full color covers. The style of each book will resemble our theme presented here, this will not only help promote our brand but will give each author a professional looking book to be proud of. Each book will be limited to 60 prints per edition, additional editions may be considered depending upon the success of your book. This will also create a desire and need for people to purchase your books as they are limited editions.
So with that in mind send us your poetry for review, please do not send us full manuscripts until we request them, you are welcome to send us a maximum of 10 pages for review.
Good luck!
