Author: Jason Hardung
Title: The Broken and the Damned
Publisher: Epic Rites Press
Poetry. THE BROKEN AND THE DAMNED by popular American poet Jason Hardung is a harrowing journey through the dangerous underbelly of the American underground – where drug abuse, violence, death and jail are part of the everyday landscape. Written in an unflinching style that weds the modern idiom to the more reflexive voice of poetry, this book does not avoid the realities of life, but confronts them head-on in a way that does not forget what makes a poem a poem.
About the author: Jason “Juice” Hardung’s work has been published widely through the American underground. Appearing in The New York Quarterly, Zygote In My Coffee, Underground Voices, decomP, Thrasher, Lummox Journal just to name a few. He has a chapbook, Breaking The Hearts Of Robots out on Covert Press. He is co-editor of the Front Range Review and Matter Journal. Writing, for him, is something that soothes the savage beast, or whatever it’s called. He is on probation for the next two years and hopes to have a novel done by then. He lives in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and loves it there, but doesn’t like all the Subarus with kayaks strapped to the roofs, the earth tone sweaters, Teva sandals, or white kids in Reggae bands.

Author: CORRIE GREATHOUSE
Title: Portraits Invisible Ink on Parchment
“These words and images by Corrie Greathouse are fetish snapshots, whispers of hope traced in sheer lines across the sleepy landscape of desire. She is a torrid blue jukebox, a fragile lyric tempered by a dream that refuses to submit. Something found in what was lost between the lines. A vascular eclipse of the sun.”—S.A. Griffin, author Numbskull Sutra
“There is a gentle touch good writers have, one that draws you in like the fine lace of a spiders web, setting you up for the subtle punch a sharp mind can’t resist. Corrie Greathouse’s essays have that punch, and I’m proud to be a sucker for her swing.” — Matt McGee, Falling Star Magazine

Title: A Dictum of Pure Thought
Gritty, powerful, and provocative, Christopher Stuart’s A Dictum of Pure Thought hurls us into a frenzied quest to find truth through unconstrained thought, no matter how terrible or beautiful that truth may be. In a decisively post-modern mix of raw verse, enigmatic slogans, and uncompromising philosophy, Stuart tackles issues of identity, mortality, art, religion, and social mores. Here, Stuart has torn the lid off of Pandora’s box and shown us that within it lies nothing more than a mirror.
Christopher Stuart’s work will leave you feeling a bit dirty and remorseful waiting for him to walk through your door to sit for a spell just staring at each other wondering what will come next. The Plebian Rag featured Christopher’s work just visit our Poetry Category for a read of his poetry.

Title: A Flood in the Sky
Price 9.99
A Flood in the Sky, the second release by poet MKYoung, is a groundbreaking look at contemporary society’s growth and regress spurring from events of the past. It is a mind blowing collection of haikus and poetry that will send the reader through the fields of emotion and return them with a better sense of purpose. A Flood in the Sky is a snapshot of our marriage with history, “in good times and in bad”, MKYoung tells this story.
MK Young’s writing speaks for the rest of us who are afraid to delve into the inner-turmoils that are boiling in the hearts of America, Flood in the Sky covered me in a dark shroud with my head peaking out the pleats starving for the light.~John C Sweet Editor of ThePlebianRag
Author: Mike Meraz
Title: Black Listed Poems
Mike Meraz is a poet that isn’t confined by the anatomy of a poem because he writes from his gut and lives among a dying breed of writers who wield an unbridled pen. His new chapbook, Black-Listed Poems, reverberates with the colloquial tradition of William Carlos Williams and possesses both the thematic and rhythmic elements of the Beat Generation. Meraz utilizes the mundane in life and bakes a feast of epiphanies with it. From the giant one-sentence poem “Reflections in the Bathroom Sink” to the empathetic ballad of “We Are Everywhere,” Black-Listed Poems is equally a personal story and a guide through the portal of human relationships and perceptions. -Kristie Langone (Editor-In-Chief, Literary Fever Magazine)
“Every generation gravitates towards the voices of the unafraid. Meraz is fearless in his words and approaches the blank page with a stoic sense of time and space and an ability to say the exact thing that always seemed allusive. With a keen sense for the poetry in the non-poetic, Mike’s voice is honest and always in touch with what, ‘is.’” -Steven M. Velardo (Founder, Backlight Records)
